You need a reality check. Your girlfriend is hot man. What are you doing? I get it. I’ve been there. You want it all. Soon you’ll see. You’re going to wind up alone and you’re going to hate everything. You will deserve that shit. She’ll get smarter. Maybe you guys aren’t together anymore. Here is hoping she stays smart. Worked for an entire afternoon. Made decent money. Rode my long board around for hours. Hung out at creative grove.

There they were. Frida earrings. Not obnoxious in size. Perfect actually. Handmade. I was going to wake up and skate to jsq, pop them through the mail slot. Spent half the money I earned.

And a few blocks away, there she was. So I stop. Her look was cold. Simple. No matter what the emotion is or ever had been in the past, she was always, and still is, the most beautiful person I’ve ever known.

Away she walked with her friends, after I handed the earrings over. An awful goodbye because it’s not the goodbye I used to say when she would leave in the morning. It was the goodbye that meant she was going to continue living her life separate from mine.

So off I go riding along as I write this. Flying Lotus is providing the soundtrack and now I wonder what I can possibly get her next. It always has to mean something.
Even with what seems like a chance in hell, I’ll take it.

Continue living people. Do what makes you feel good. Stay healthy and vibrant. I’m trying.
